Sky Falconry offers you and three guests two hours of immersion in the world of falconry. This intimate experience includes witnessing the free flight of a hawk, a falcon, and the unique addition of meeting and working with a Great Horned Owl.
You will be in awe as you witness the hawks’ long flights through old oaks, as they glide gracefully across open fields, eventually landing on your outstretched arm. Experience a falcon flying from your glove to soar on the edge of vast wilderness. Be mesmerized by the beauty of a personal encounter with a Great Horned Owl. The Sky Falconry team of Master Falconers will treat you to a deep dive into the ancient art of falconry, as well as providing detailed information about raptor biology, and ongoing conservation efforts for these beautiful birds.<
Your experience will be captured by an onsite photographer who will provide photos of the day, that your group will never forget.
Sky Falconry’s historic, 40 acre ranch is located in the mountains of San Diego, California. At 2,500 feet elevation, just 30 miles from the coast, this unique combination of terrains offers stunning ocean views paired with expansive views of the Cleveland National Forest.
This class is offered September through mid-July.
